Let’s Learn
While fasting, Muslims seek Allah, especially on the Night of Power, which they are taught is a special time when they can ask him for anything in prayer. Some believe that on this night, Satan is bound and they will receive extra rewards for their good deeds. Many Muslims will say extra prayers or even stay up all night praying, believing that they are more likely to receive an answer from Allah.
Jibbali of Oman
The Jibbali of Oman are proud Muslims who speak what is known as Jibbali or “mountain language.” There are no Scriptures in this language. Unless something changes, the Jibbali of Oman will continue facing each day without the comfort and guidance of God’s Word.
From the Word
John 10:27-30
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
Let’s Pray
What a beautiful promise You have given, oh Lord, that Your sheep will hear Your voice and follow You. And how amazing it is to remember that they will never be snatched from Your hand. I pray that You will raise up believers who are willing to go to the Jibbali of Oman and share this good news. During this night of spiritual openness among so many Muslims, I ask You to break through to Muslims and bring them to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
