Let’s Learn

Even though opportunities for gospel conversation abound during Ramadan and more people are focused on spiritual ideas, sometimes it can be challenging for believers to take those opportunities and share their faith. Many believers in Muslim countries face persecution from their friends, family, and government. Reaching Muslims with the gospel requires believers to be brave and share boldly, no matter the cost.

Egyptian Arabs of Qatar

Many Egyptians work in Qatar and send money back to their family in Egypt. Most follow Islam, trying to find favor with Allah. It is considered blasphemy to question their faith. To leave Islam and follow Jesus can mean losing their job, their place in their family, or even their life.

The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.

Let’s Pray

• Pray for believers to be brave and take the opportunities that God has provided for them to share the gospel during Ramadan.
• Pray for Egyptian Arabs in Qatar to also be brave when they hear the gospel by choosing to leave Islam and follow Jesus.
• Ask God to reveal His truth to people around the world who are dwelling in darkness.

Merciful Savior, I praise You because You have made a way for those living in darkness to be brought into right relationship with You. Would You send Your light to shine brightly among the Egyptian Arabs of Qatar?
