Pray for Dolkar
I live in a village high in the mountains of India where the winters are cold and life is hard. A few years ago, my husband died.
I have been lonely and scared since then. What will happen to me when I die?
To earn merit for my next life, I spend my days saying prayers, chanting mantras, and visiting the Tibetan Buddhist temple. Will the good things I have done be enough to outweigh the bad so I can have a good next life?

God, nestled deep in the crevices of the Himalayan mountains, the Spiti people have limited access to the Gospel. Prepare their hearts to listen to those who bring the stories of Jesus.
“Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” Romans 10:1-4
The Spiti people spend their lives trying to accumulate good works and establish their own righteousness. Pray for the Spiti people to find God’s righteousness and spiritual rest in Jesus.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to teach the Spiti people that all their works are like filthy rags, but that Jesus offers them the free gift of grace.
Pray for Gospel portions to speak to the hearts of the Spiti people that they may be saved.
