Pray for Yi Ling
I have always lived in a sleepy village beside ErHai lake, everyday mending my nets in hopes of providing for the needs of my family. Though my family and friends live all around me, I wrestle with loneliness and the monotony of catching fish. Two ladies from a neighboring village walked through our village, and as l invited them in, they shared about how Jesus alone can satisfy all of my needs. They explained about Jesus and how He was God’s son and how I could ask Him for purpose and meaning in my life. I really want to know more about Jesus, but to do that I would need to give up joining the ceremonies and celebrations of my people. I am afraid they would no longer accept me as a true Baizu which would lead to even greater loneliness. I wonder if Jesus really is able to fill me up and hold me close.

God, we celebrate Jesus as the Light of the world. May You use digital means to put the Gospel in front of the Bai people. May You stir the hearts of the Bai to recognize Jesus and accept Him as their savior.
” And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
The Bai people are seeking salvation through their own efforts. Pray for the few believers in their midst to boldly declare that only through Jesus can they be saved.
Pray for the Bai to find the Gospel online when they search for answers to difficult life questions.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw the Bai to Jesus and convince them that only through Jesus will they find salvation and true community.
