Pray For The Olympics - Day 9

Prayer Prompt

Meditate on Scripture

Psalm 67:3-4, ESV Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah

Prayer Focus: Lostness

God is deserving of all of our praise and adoration. Pray for those who do not yet know what it is to “sing for joy.” Ask that they will have the opportunity to hear the good news and receive newness of life in Him.

Pray for Paris

The oldest Baptist church in the city is hosting a Christian art exhibit near the famous Louvre art museum. Pray for many to come to this exhibit and be willing to engage in conversation with church members and short-term workers. Pray they will open their hearts to hear the gospel message.

Pray for the Nations

The Olympics provide unique opportunities for athletes, coaches, and other staff to mingle with people from other cultures and countries. Pray for those who come from countries in North Africa and Middle East where the gospel is not accessible. Ask God to prepare, embolden, and place believers in strategic places to share the good news. Pray for soft, open hearts, and that people will go back to their home countries with seeds of truth planted deep in their hearts.

Praying as a group?

Leading others in prayer is a great step in making disciples. We want to celebrate your and their faithfulness. For each person that prays with you, we will add 15 minutes to the 95.4 days of prayer committed so far.
