Maira* enjoys meeting her American friend Alyssa*, who is a follower of Jesus. Maira has always loved reading stories of the prophets, and when Alyssa invited her to read the Bible, she eagerly accepted. Now they read together almost every time they meet. Recently, while studying God’s Word, Maira felt convicted of her sin but could not accept that Jesus died for it. She left Alyssa’s house hoping that remembering the punishment for sin might help her stop sinning. Many other Arabians experience the same struggle.
